When it comes to designing a physical space, photoshop mockups can be helpful for visualizing ideas. What it can't do is allow you to move through that space and experience how those changes would feel -- nor can it be used to determine to-spec sizing/placement for fitment, procurement, ADA-compliance, facility execution, or a myriad of other purposes. That's where 3D-modeled environments stand out; bridging the gap between creative vision and feasible reality.
