During a partnership between DISH Network and SPI (CRM), a new site was to be opened in Idaho. This site was to be an "Outdoor Center of Excellence", specializing in equipment and services related to satellite TV for tailgating, RVs, and the like. Such projects usually start like this...
After having had a couple of conversations and building out the model, we can start visualizing ideas in the space as if we were doing it through VR goggles. As a matter of fact, these can be rendered as VR (in theory) though I haven't actually done that in practice. You have to admit though, that'd be quite the presentation!
A demo lab consisting of a "cross-sectioned" RV to be onsite.
Like most environment-related initiatives, this project was multifaceted. Aside from the model itself, it included digital signage and TV placement, wall treatments, posters, and (in this case) a huge sign in the front of the building. You have to collaborate with several different areas of the business to coordinate everything -- facilities, IT, local site leads, PMs, procurement, and all manner of executive leadership to name a few.
